Testing
Solar Energy Centre Denmark performs accredited testing and field measurement in accordance to international standard EN45001.
Solar Energy Centre Denmark is the host institution for Denmark’s two solar test laboratories. "Test laboratory for solar heating systems" established in 1981 and "Test laboratory for solar cell systems" established in 1995. These laboratories are the foundation for the development of equipment and expertise that make it possible to provide a testing service for the whole spectrum of all solar energy related areas from component development to active solar heating, solar-air systems and solar cells.
Advice and Promotion
The aim with this function is to structure, coordinate, expand and promote knowledge of solar energy.
Technical advice is available and information is disseminated to professional organisations together with information concerning what is required by all relevant authorities. In addition participation is undertaken in international collaborative and standardisation work with the objective of targeting professional bodies, representatives from the solar collector industry, the development of solar energy, energy and environmental agencies and authorities (the Danish Ministry of Environment and Energy).
